Community LIFE is currently recruiting a full time Primary Care Physician (MD or DO) for our PACE (Program of All Inclusive Care for the Elderly) location in Southwestern Pennsylvania. We are on the cutting edge of redefining geriatric care.

We deliver care in a non-traditional way. Our Physician is part of the interdisciplinary team that will deliver high quality care and plan for the healthcare needs of our participants.

"Just as we ask our participants about their values and goals, so should the potential provider think about their own values and what features of a job will satisfy those values.  This introspection is key when thinking about working for Community LIFE. 

As a provider, I value serving the underserved.  When working in rural and urban settings one of the most frustrating aspects of being a physician was the fact that I could devise a plan for my patient but it could not be actualized due to circumstances beyond my or their control.  Such issues as transportation, working full time, cost of meds, and difficulty with paperwork would prevent patients from accomplishing the goals wed set.  The multi-disciplinary team in the LIFE program eliminates those barriers to success.  The other aspect that makes Community LIFE so satisfying is that the heart and mission of the company and its employees is genuine.  From aids, to drivers, to the social workers, nurses and clinical staff there is true caring for the patient as a person.  For many of our participants, we are their only family.  Finally, the challenge of managing medically complex older adults is intellectually satisfying.  Help from our Medical Director, Randy Hebert, or our other providers is a call away.
