Job Summary:

• MD/DO degree
• Will consider new graduates
• Texas licensure or ability to obtain
• DEA with full prescriptive authority
• ABIM, AOBIM, ABFM, or AOBFP board certified
• Responsible for the care of the patients in their practices through management of a personal panel of patients, the supervision of learners in the care of patients, and the modeling of collaboration and teamwork with staff and other health professionals
• Provide supervision for IM residents in the continuity clinic (Outpatient 85% / Inpatient 15%)
• Inpatient: Can be Family Medicine physician with Focused Practice in Hospital Med
• Outpatient: Can be Family Medicine physician with experience in ambulatory setting
• Current or recent academic experience is preferred, but candidates interested in transitioning from private practice to an academic position are encouraged to apply.
• Prior educational experience in a GME program is preferred
