The unweighted sample included 918 PWD visits and 26,543 PWOD visits, representing 29.0 and 780 million outpatient visits. Polypharmacy was extremely common among PWD in a representative sample of outpatient visits, driven by a wide range of medication categories. Addressing polypharmacy in PWD will necessitate multidisciplinary and cross-cutting approaches.
