Time-dependent COVID-19 mortality in patients with cancer: An updated analysis of the OnCovid Registry

Researchers aimed at ascertaining if there has been an improvement in the severity and mortality from COVID-19 among patients with cancer during the course of the pandemic.
A registry-based study including real-world data of 2,634 patients with COVID-19 and cancer from 35 institutions across 6 countries (UK, Italy, Spain, France, Belgium, and Germany).
Analysis revealed an improvement in mortality from COVID-19, earlier diagnosis and improved disease management may have resulted in this improvement.
