2021 Precision Oncology Summit: Personalizing Treatment to Improve Patient Outcomes

This one-day hybrid (in-person and livestream) summit will feature leading experts in the field of precision oncology who will provide a comprehensive overview of implications of actionable molecular alterations across common malignancies.

The goal of this activity is to improve the knowledge and competence of oncology clinicians to interpret complex molecular data and translate personalized treatment strategies into routine clinical care.

Enduring recorded webcast will be made available on education portal after the meeting for one year.

The summit aims to improve patient outcomes through augmentation of healthcare providers’ foundation of knowledge and clinical competence in several areas, including trends, challenges, controversies, and cost-considerations of precision oncology approaches and targeted therapies. On the agenda:

  • Tumor sequencing for detection of molecular abnormalities
  • Beyond Sequencing – methods in identifying tumor biomarkers for targeted therapies
  • Germline genetic testing for cancer prevention and treatment
  • Targeted therapies in metastatic breast cancer
  • Biomarker adapted strategies in locoregional management of breast cancer
  • Biomarker-guided therapy in metastatic lung cancer – my approach
  • Targeted therapies and immunotherapy in adjuvant treatment of lung cancer
  • Targeted therapies in management of metastatic and loco-regional colorectal cancer
  • Precision oncology approaches in hepatobiliary and pancreatic malignancies
